Well, anything can cost a lot if you want it to but let's see... -I go through about a bottle and a half of Aussie moist a month...but we'll say 2 just to round it off. That is under $3 a bottle but we'll say 3 to round it off. -It takes about 2 months to go through a bottle of Aussie shampoo, at $3/bottle (to round it off). -I use a bottle of Aussie 3 min. miracle about every month and a half to two months, at say $4/bottle (rounding it up). -I get a trim by a professional in a salon once every 5 months or so at $25 (with tip). Let's say 2 1/2 times a year to round it up. The total I get for total hair care per year is $188.50 This is $62.50 for trim maintence and $126 for all hair products. This averages out to $15.70 per month. Now let's see what short hair might cost... -Hair cuts every 3 weeks (many do it more often) at the discount shop is $8. Or $136 (rounded down). -Shampoo might be used more but we'll just say one bottle per month at the Aussie price of $3=$36. -Conditioner may not get used much if at all but is recommended depending on the length. Let's say 1 bottle every two months(Aussie price)=$18. This totals out at $190 per year. This is more than long hair. The cost of having long hair is not higher to me than having short hair.
